Venue, date change announced for 24-Hour Mountain Bike Nationals
Colorado Springs, Colo. (March 11, 2010) -- USA Cycling announced today a change in the dates and venue for the 2010 USA Cycling 24-Hour Mountain Bike National Championships. The event will now return to Moab, Utah for 2010, to be held in conjunction with the 24-Hours of Moab event, October 9-10.  The USA Cycling 24-Hour Mountain Bike National Championships were originally scheduled to take place alongside the 24-Hours of Big Bear in Hazelton, W. Va., June 12-13. However, due to financial concerns, 24-Hour Race Series promoter Laird Knight cancelled the 2010 edition of the West Virginia race.

Theo Bos (NED) won his second race of the season today in the final 121 kilometre stage to Murcia. The Cervélo TestTeam rider was faster than Graeme Brown (AUS - Rabobank) and Daniel Schorn (AUT-Team NetApp) in the sprint. Frantisek Rabon (CZE - HTC-Columbia) finished safely in the peloton on this final flat stage to win the Tour of Murcia.

Columbia-HTC rider Frantisek Rabon has clinched the overall victory of the Tour of Murcia, Spain, following a trouble-free final stage on Sunday.Rabon had taken the lead thanks to his spectacular time trial victory on Saturday. HTC-Columbia then kept the race well under control in Sunday's 121.1 kilometre stage from Redyser to Murcia, won by Holland's Theo Bos.

Rabon takes overall lead in Murcia after time trial win

HTC-Columbia’s Frantisek Rabon has moved into the overall lead of the Tour of Murcia in Spain thanks to a convincing victory in stage four’s individual time trial. Rabon finished 33 seconds ahead of Russia’s Denis Menchov and 48 seconds ahead of Great Britain’s Bradley Wiggins in a flat 22 kilometre course at Alhama de Murcia. With just one stage of the Tour of Murcia remaining, HTC-Columbia’s Czech rider now leads by 38 seconds on Menchov and 53 on Wiggins.
