Carney and Mills Send Strong Field Sprint Squad to Charlotte and Hanes Park Minneapolis, Min., August 6th, 2009 — The Kelly Benefit Strategies cycling program’s back-to-back race season continues this weekend as Jonas Carney and Ken Mills send a strong six-man squad of field sprinters to the USA Cycling double header in Charlotte and Salem, North Carolina. Competing against riders from 24 different teams, USA Cycling Junior National Development Team program riders Nathan Brown, Adam Leibovitz and Lawson Craddock swept the prologue podium at le Tour du Pays de Vaud in Switzerland on June 4th. Brown posted a time of 3:49 over the three-kilometer course, besting his teammates by two seconds. The 2.1-rated, four-stage junior race will continue through June 7. Read Full Article

Oakland, CA – The OUCH Pro Cycling Team Presented by Maxxis has added Chris Baldwin, a two-time U.S. National Time Trial Champion, to its roster for the remainder of the 2009 season.

Four junior cyclists secured automatic nominations over the weekend to the U.S. National Team for the 2009 UCI Road and Time Trial World Championships: Nathan Brown, Lawson Craddock, Kendall Ryan, and Coryn Rivera. The May 30-31 Soto Classic in Nashville, Tenn. served as the 2009 UCI Junior Road and Time Trial World Championship U.S. trials, awarding a nomination to the male and female winners of the 17-18 road race and time trial events.
