Maxim Iglinsky made the final cut in the Ronde van Vlaanderen to battle with the race's top favourites, but he lacked the strength to respond to the attacks over the final climbs.   He kept his cool, though, and managed to close the day with a eighth in one of Belgium's hardest races.

The Belgian semi-classic Scheldeprijs will be an opportunity for the BMC Racing Team’s sprinters to test their legs while also serving as a final tune-up for Paris-Roubaix. ‘No Bad Cobblestones’Wednesday’s 205.4 km race features one loop of a 156 km course, followed by three shorter laps of a 16.4 km circuit.
