The 10th and 11th races on the USA Cycling Cyclo-cross National Racing Calendar took place over the weekend with the Gran Prix of Gloucester I and II, October 3rd and 4th in Gloucester, Mass. Saturday saw Jonathan Page (Northfield, N.H./Planet Bike) capture the elite men's victory while Canadian Natasha Elliott (Garneau Club Chaussure Ogilvy) took the win in the elite women's race.

The fifth through ninth events of 42 races on the USA Cycling Cyclo-cross National Racing Calendar were contested over the weekend. Jamey Driscoll (Jericho, Vt./Cannondale-Cyclocrossworld.com) and Katie Compton (Colorado Springs, Colo./Stevens) took the pro men's and women's wins at Cross Vegas in front of a crowd of several thousand bike enthusiasts. The 2009/2010 U.S. Cyclo-cross season gears up this weekend
Colorado Springs, Colo. (September 18, 2009) – The 2009/2010 U.S. Cyclo-cross season is gearing up with the first four events on the USA Cycling Cyclo-cross National Racing Calendar being contested this weekend. This year’s series boasts six UCI category-one competitions and 36 category-two competitions. With all forty-two events on the calendar being part of the UCI Cyclo-cross Calendar as well, the United States once again has more internationally-sanctioned cyclo-cross races than any other nation.
