Team Type 1 to Showcase Top-Flight Talent at San Dimas Stage Race
Atlanta —This weekend plays host to the Team Type 1 Proessional Team’s first major stage race of the year, California’s annual San Dimas Stage Race. Team Type 1 sends a strong team to the event, including Fabio Calabria, Will Dugan, Davide Frattini, Ken Hanson, Dan Holt, Scott Stewart and Martijn Verschoor. Seasoned director Vassili Davidenko will lead the squad as they hit the line Friday afternoon for the first of the race’s three stages.

Oakland, CA – The UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling Team Presented by Maxxis brings its stage race squad to San Dimas, CA this weekend for one final tune-up ahead of the NRC season opener in Redlands next weekend.Clarke, Pinfold, Baldwin, JenkinsThe three-day San Dimas Stage Race race will provide a good test, offering up an opening 3.7 mile climbing time trial up Glendora Mountain Road into the San Gabriel Mountains on Friday, followed by a hilly, 84-mile road race covered by 12 laps of a seven-mile circuit. The race concludes Sunday with a fast 90-minute criterium in downtown San Dimas.

Theo Bos (NED) won his second race of the season today in the final 121 kilometre stage to Murcia. The Cervélo TestTeam rider was faster than Graeme Brown (AUS - Rabobank) and Daniel Schorn (AUT-Team NetApp) in the sprint. Frantisek Rabon (CZE - HTC-Columbia) finished safely in the peloton on this final flat stage to win the Tour of Murcia.

Columbia-HTC rider Frantisek Rabon has clinched the overall victory of the Tour of Murcia, Spain, following a trouble-free final stage on Sunday.Rabon had taken the lead thanks to his spectacular time trial victory on Saturday.
