HTC-Columbia's Michael Rogers has moved into the lead of the Tour of Andalusia after finishing fourth in stage four's time trial in Malaga. Twelve seconds down on stage winner Alex Rasmussen of Denmark, Rogers now leads overall by 19 seconds ahead of Belgium's Jurgen Van Den Broeck.

HTC-Columbia's is sending a strong squad to the five-day Tour of Andalusia, targeting sprints and the General Classification. Half way through the Volta ao Algarve in southern Portugal, the racing weather improved from the rain and cold from earlier in the week, with some sunshine and drier roads welcoming the riders today. Columbia-HTC is poised for their last two races of the the 2009 season, the Giro del Piemonte on October 15th and the Giro di Lombardia on October 17th. Sprinter André Greipel and his Columbia-HTC teammates are aiming for a strong season finish in the Paris-Bourges and Paris-Tours Classics in France this week. "Paris-Tours suits me better than Paris-Bourges, although it's so flat you've got to be careful because the cross-winds can make a big difference very quickly," Greipel said. "If it comes down to a bunch sprint, I'm in good shape and I'll give it the best I can."
